Physical Therapy Club

The Physical Therapy Club, sponsored by the Health Professions and Prelaw Center, provides pre-PT students, or those who are simply considering PT, the opportunity to arrange and hold meetings with PT admissions representatives, guest speakers, students who have been admitted to PT programs, and others. The club also provides members with the opportunity to network with regards to clinical observation and volunteer opportunities. We also occasionally arrange opportunities for members to simply socialize and get to know one another! (There is a small membership fee each of fall and spring semesters for all members, current and new.)

Important: If you are pre-physical therapy, or even just contemplating a career in PT, please join the PT email list so you will receive timely announcements about upcoming events and information pertinent to the field and to PT programs.

We also recommend that you periodically check the HPPLC Events Calendar for PT-related events and information sessions.

The PT Club officers consist of either a president and vice-president, or two co-presidents; secretary; and treasurer. If you are interested in running for a position, please attend the next meeting and ask an officer when the next elections are.

If you wish to join the PT Club, simply come to our next meeting. We would like to meet you! Be sure to join the PT email list so you are in the loop on all PT related events and updates, including meeting announcements.

If would like to get involved or have ideas for club activities, including volunteer or other professional development ideas, please attend the next meeting.
