IU Law Day: Law School Fair
IU Health Professions & Prelaw Center
Visit the IMU on Friday, October 6, as we welcome law schools from around the country! Admissions representatives from a hundred J.D. granting institutions will be in the Indiana Memorial Union's Alumni Hall to speak with prosective law students about the education their school can offer, admissions criteria, and other questions.
IU Law Day has two events:
- Law School Admission Dean's Panel Discussion: 9 AM – 10:45 AM, IMU Whittenberger Auditorium
- Law School Fair: 11 AM – 3 PM, IMU Alumni Hall & Solarium
What Is Law Day?
It is the perhaps most important event of the year for prelaw students at Indiana University Bloomington. If you are seriously considering law school, attendance at both events listed below should be considered mandatory. Freshmen through alumni are urged to attend!
Venue Information
Law Day will take place at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU). Alumni Hall is on the first floor of the Union, located at 900 East 7th Street, Bloomington, IN 47405 (campus and venue maps). Participants at Law Day are required to be masked.
Why Attend Law Day?
IU's Law Day is perhaps the most important event for these prospective law students. Attendance at Law Day events can give law school applicants a competitive edge.
Attendance at Law Day is especially helpful for students considering law school now or in the future. Students who attend find it an eye-opening experience. It is critical for current applicants and juniors to attend, but freshmen and sophomores will receive an invaluable close-up and personal introduction to the realities of law school admission. We look forward to seeing you there!
