Undergraduate Preparation for Health Professions

Solid academic preparation at the undergraduate level is critical for applicants to any graduate-level program. For health profession schools, this includes completing required coursework, engaging in experiential learning such as shadowing and community service, getting to know the faculty, achieving a solid grade point average, and doing well on professional school admissions tests. To be successful in health profession schools, students typically need strong abilities in math and science, as well as critical thinking and communication skills.
