Why Attend Law Day?
The Health Professions & Prelaw Center estimates that there are over 5,000 students at IUB from over 53 majors who are potentially interested in going to law school and an equal number of alumni. IU's Law Day is perhaps the most important event for these prospective law students. Prior to COVID-19, it had been the nation's largest university law fair for over a decade. Competition for admission to law school has seen large rises recently, especially in 2021. Attendance at Law Day events can give students a competitive edge.
Attendance at Law Day is crucial for students considering law school now or in the future. Students who attend find it an eye-opening experience. It is critical for current applicants and juniors to attend, but freshmen and sophomores will receive an invaluable close-up and personal introduction to the realities of law school admission. We look forward to seeing you there!
