Notice: Changes to HPPLC Advising Starting March 16
On March 10th, 2020, IU President Michael McRobbie issued a university-wide letter with updates on the university's plans regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The President's recommendations were updated on March 15th with a second university-wide letter indicating that students will not return to campus for the remainder of the Spring semester.
In response to the campus plan, and with the safety and well-being of students and others in mind, all Health Professions and Prelaw Center advising services will be conducted via phone or on-line starting March 16th. We will not be offering any in-person advising until further notice.
During this time, here’s how you can still access HPPLC services:
- Take a moment to consult the Health Professions and Prelaw Center website for helpful resources on preparing for admission to law and health profession schools. In particular, the HPPLC Guidebook has sections devoted to all the crucial steps in planning for admission.
- Do you have a question that could be answered over email? Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and a HPPLC advisor will respond. If you already have been working with an advisor at HPPLC, please also feel free to send your email directly to that advisor.
- Would you like to have an appointment with a HPPLC advisor that will be held remotely? You can continue to schedule appointments through the Student Appointment Scheduler with HPPLC advisors, and the appointment will be conducted via phone or Zoom.
- Call 812-855-1873 to speak with our office receptionist if you have other concerns.
